“I adopted Zoey on July 13, 2011 from the Petsmart in Greeley.
When she reached for me through the kennel, I knew she needed to come home with me. She was the first cat I got on my own and has lived with me in every apartment and house since I moved to northern Colorado. She was with me through many ups and downs in my 20’s and 30’s and when I started a family.
Her obsession with human food, plants, flowers, hair ties, cords, fresh laundry, Starbucks pastries and Starbucks cold foam would drive me insane. These things could not be left unattended because she would destroy them. Despite her naughtiness, she was silly and entertaining and loved to play fetch. She would meow at the top of her lungs and bring you her favorite mouse to let you know she was ready to play.
Zoey crossed the rainbow bridge on December 30, 2025 and has left a huge hole in our hearts. We miss her so much but hope she is soaking up all the sunshine on the other side.”
